The tiger hunt

La caza de Tigre

sunny 30 °C

In Ranthambore National Park, close to Jaipur, we went for our tiger hunt. And we saw a lot of tigers. However, all except one ended up being strange twisted branches, trees and rocks.
The real tiger we could first follow using the tracks on the road. In the middle of our tracking, our jeep got a flat tire. Everyone had to leave the jeep so the tire could be changed but still stay close enough so we could jump back in since we didn’t know where the tiger was. Scary and exciting at the same time! Once back in the jeep, we were able to track down the tiger, calmly walking in the forest. It was on the move the whole time so we never got a good chance to take a picture, or maybe we were too excited. Once hidden among the trees the tiger even started to roar. Yes, we got a second adrenalin kick!
We tried our luck four times taking safaris in the park and got to see a lot of other animals and great nature as well as the excitement of not knowing what you will see next.
Great adventure and one of the best experiences in India during this year.

---------------------------------
