Donde India duerme

Where India sleeps

all seasons in one day 25 °C

Vasco da Gama’s India is asleep before the high season of tourism starts. Goa is India’s smallest state, in area. Anjuna - the capital of the hippies in the sixties and seventies, Old Goa - the city of churches, and Panaji - the capital of Goa, were our destinations. Goa has currently problems with the garbage management and obedience of rules and laws - the last problem is mainly a product of tourism. In short, we managed to go to the beach, eat at the only open restaurant near the beach (where some hippies were smoking something more than tobacco), walk quickly in Old Goa and Panaji, change room (the first one had so much mold that Morin got a cold), watch TV, wait for the rain to end, play pool, escape from ferocious dogs, take car rides, enjoy the bar and pool. We failed to find the parties with Trance music and the colonies of tourists, but we did find a dormant state while monsoon rains end.
